WOMEN’S BASKETBALL COACH AND PLAYER

*Beginning her 19th overall season and 14th season as the head coach at Cal in 2024-2025, Strom is the all-time winningest coach in program history with a 281-87 (.764) cumulative overall record.

*As head coach, she has led the Vulcans to 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, four Atlantic Regional Championship games, three PSAC championships (2015, 2016, 2023) and the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship.

*During her time with the program, Cal has made 15 NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the Elite Eight three times.

*Strom has guided the Vulcans to 10 20-win-plus seasons in the past 11 seasons, including nine consecutive heading into 2024-25.

*In 2014-2015, Cal captured the second NCAA II National Championship in program history and finished 32-4 overall after closing the season on an 11-game win streak and 18 victories in their last 19 games, including two NCAA Tournament overtime triumphs. The Vulcans went 304 overall two years later.

*Cal was the 2015 recipient of the “Together We R” Team Award, which honors programs that strive to succeed in the face of adversity, overcome extraordinary circumstances such as unforeseen team crisis, barrier or unfortunate situation that causes extra stress. Senior Shaunice Clark passed away suddenly in January of that season.

*Strom has received PSAC Coach of the Year honors three times and was the 2017 WBCA Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.

*A 2012 WPIAL Hall of Fame inductee, Strom was a two-sport star at Steel Valley High School, where she scored 2,840 career basketball points and a then-WPIAL-record 205 soccer goals.

*She was a four-year basketball starter and three-time All-Big Ten selection at Penn State and finished as one of only four players to register 1,000 points and 750 assists. She also added 310 steals and 191 three-pointers.Strom helped the Nittany Lions compile a 93-38 cumulative record, 52-12 conference mark and a pair of Big Ten regular season titles.
