  • Career record: 55-2-2
  • 3 time Pennsylvania Catholic Interscholastic Athletic Association champion (PCIAA)
  • Undefeated as a senior at 18-0
  • Unscored upon in the PCIAA tournament
  • Won 3 of the 9 championships in I.C. history
  • Section D champion in the Junior Olympics
  • First PCIAA wrestler to participate in the All Star wrestling match between Pennsylvania and Illinois all stars, a predecessor of the Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic
  • Selected as an Amateur Wrestling News High School Honorable Mention All American

Washington & Jefferson

  • 4 year starter
  • Team captain as a junior and senior
  • 4 time place winner in the Presidents Athletic Conference tournament
  • 4 time qualifier in the NCAA Division III tournament
  • Undefeated as a senior (13-0)
  • Over 60 college victories, which at the time of his graduation was the most in school history
  • Also at graduation, earned the most victories for W&J in the NCAA Division III tournament
  • Ranked in the top 5 all time winning percentage at the school
  • Wrestled in every scheduled meet for his teams as a high school freshman to a college senior

Coaching

  • Immaculate Conception: 1977 – 1980
  • Athletic Director and head coach
  • Coached I.C.’s only WPIAL and PIAA state champion
  • Washington & Jefferson: 1993 – 2006
  • Head coach after serving as an assistant
  • Team won first PAC championship in 25 years
  • Coached 3 wrestlers to more than 100 victories and coached W&J’s first All American in 25 years
  • W&J wrestlers won 44 individual conference championships including 9 selected as PAC outstanding wrestlers
  • PAC Coach of the Year – 1999
  • Inducted into the W&J College Athletic Hall of Fame – 2010
