Valedictorian of his graduating class at Derry High School and went on to St, Vincent College on a full Academic Scholarship. He was accepted into the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a M.D. He spent two years of Post Graduate training at St. Francis Hospital. Served in the United States Naval Medical Corps as a Lt. Commander. After an Honorable Discharge he relocated to Washington, Pa. and went into private practice as a Family Practitioner.

Dr. Tripoli has been well respected in the Washington Medical Community for over 40 years. His patients now include grandchildren of the babies he delivered in those early years. He is a compassionate, energetic and humble man who is motivated by his strongly held spiritual and religious convictions. His generosity knows no boundaries.

He has done humanitarian medical work in 3rd World Countries including, Guatemala, Haiti and Honduras. Most recently he traveled to Amman, Jordan to help rescue and help save the life of an Iraqi girl who currently stayed in his home while undergoing medical treatment. He has been awarded the Washington County Italian American Society’s “Man of the Year Award” in 1994 and 2001. “Heroes of Healing” by the Catholic Charities in 2002 and the Rotary Award in 2001.
