DUNCAN PARKINSON

Duncan played baseball and basketball for East Washington High School and Greenbrier Academy. He is a graduate of Allegheny College and played baseball and basketball for 4 years.

Allegheny won the PAC 3 straight years and he was named to the All-Conference Team. While in College he played for Sol Mintz City Softball Champions, 1962 ’64.After College he played Semi-Pro Basketball for Brownsville and the Tylerdale Civic Club

Parkinson graduated from the West Virginia University Law School. He was the owner and trainer of Standard Bred horses at the Meadows Race Track for over 30 years. In 1980 was the winner of the Hugh Grant Award for most wins by an owner/trainer. He was inducted into the Allegheny College Hall of Fame, Class 1997.
