Sophomore-undefeated in dual meets, section Champ, WPIAL champ, lost in semifinal at the PIAA 1958 Junior-undefeated in dual meets, Section Champ, WPIAL champ, lost in finals at the PIRA 1959 Senior- undefeated in dual meets and was not scored upon until the State finals, Section Champ, WPIAL champ, lost in the finals at the PIAA

College Findlay University, Findlay, Ohio
Lost one dual meet in three and one-half years of wrestling for Findlay College. He was NAIA (4-1) Champion in 1963 and 1964. Held at Case Western in Cleveland Ohio. Third place finish in the NAIA, National tournament in 1963, Bloomsburg, PA

First place finish in the NAIA National Tournament in 1964, Spearfish, South Dakota. Qualified for the 1964 Olympic trials in New York City. Second Place finish in the NAIA National Tournament in 1965, Indiana, three time NAIA All-American. Findlay College’s First National Champion. Also, while in college and wrestling never had the benefit of a Wrestling Coach.

Coached Wrestling in Michigan, New York, and at Norwin Senior High for twenty-six years. Currently an assistant principal at Norwin Senior High School in N. Huntington, Pa

Wife: Patricia Marshall is a nurse with Westmoreland County Regional Hospital in Greensburg, Pennsylvania

Two children: Sean Marshall, working for a company out of Washington, DC in computers and has his own web based business for computer services. Julie Marshall-Ridge is working in the teaching profession within the McKeesport School District.
