2016 – Football

Elizabeth-Forward High School

• 3 sport, 6 time letterman in football, basketball and baseball
• Basketball MVP and Outstanding Football award as a senior
• Inducted into the Elizabeth-Forward Alumni and Friends Association Hall
  of Fame – 2013

California State College

• 4 year starter at defensive back
• Member of the undefeated 1958 team and 4 teams that lost a total of 5
  games during his career
• Has the PSAC and California State record for interceptions at 29 that still
  stands today
• Inducted into the California University of Pennsylvania Hall of Fame for
  football and basketball – 1998

• Played for the Wheeling Ironmen in the United Football League and the
  Pittsburgh Ironmen in the Atlantic Coast Football League
• Led the Atlantic Coast League with 11 interceptions and tied for the
  league lead the following year with 9 while making the Atlantic Coast
  League All-Star team

Coaching

• Over 40 years of coaching boys and girls basketball in Ohio and
   Pennsylvania
• Took 2 Brownsville High School girls teams to the PIAA playoffs
• Section 3 Coach of the Year: 1995 and 1996
• Teacher at Beth-Center High School for 25 years
• Long time basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball official
