  • He was a 1997 PIAA runner-up in wresting in 1997 and rushed for more than 1,600 yards for the football team during his scholastic senior in the 1996 season.
  • At Edinboro University, Josh was a four-time NCAA Division I All-American at 174 pounds.
  • He capped a perfect 42-0 junior season in 2001 by winning the NCAA Division I National Championship after finishing fourth and second his first two collegiate seasons.
  • Josh finished third nationally in 2002 despite missing part of the season due to a bulging disk in his neck and went 21-4 overall at four NCAA Championship Tournaments.
  • Koscheck also won two Eastern Wrestling League championships and was the 11th wrestler to ever win four PSAC championships. He was named those tourney’s Outstanding Wrestler.
  • Josh was also named EWL Wrestler of the Year twice and PSAC Wrestler of the Year three times. He was also both the 199 EWL and PSAC Freshman of the Year.
  • He finished his brilliant collegiate career with a 128-17 cumulative record.
  • Koscheck then achieved a successful career in Mixed Martial Arts with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
  • He twice won Knockout of the Night and Fight of the Night as well as Submission of the Night once.
