• All WVIAC defensive tackle, 1971 – 1973
• Nominated for WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week four times in 1971 and eight times in 1972.
• Selected WVIAC Player of the Week four times in 1972
• UPI NAIA Defensive Player of the Week, October 1972
• Defensive team captain, 1972 – 1973
• Recipient of the “Mr. Hilltopper” award for outstanding male on campus, 1972
• Played on the 1970 – 71 and 1971 – 72 WVIAC championship teams, making the NAIA championship playoffs those same years.
