STANLEY J. DOMINSKI

Stanley J. Dominski of R.D. 2, Eighty Four, is a native of Raccoon, Washington County. He is a graduate of Burgettstown High School.

Dominski’s soccer career covered more than three decades in the Outlaw, Panhandle and Washington County leagues.

He played for a number of teams including Raccoon, Atlasburg, Cedar Grove, Langeloth, Chicago Maroons, Chicago Vikings, Van Voorhis, Cokeburg, South View, Lincoln Hill, Midland and Pittsburgh Indians.

He was player-manager of the 1946-47 Atlasburg team which was a cup winner with a 23-1 record and late in his career was among top scorers in the Washington County League while playing for Cokeburg.

He finished his playing career in 1962 with Atlasburg at the age of 45.

Dominski was also active in district sandlot baseball.
