1970 TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL

Coach Joe Shook’s 1970 Trinity High School Wrestling Team is arguably the premier wrestling team ever at Trinity High. This team dominated everyone they wrestled compiling a dual match record of 14-0. Team scores for those matches were 637 points scored, an average of 45.5 points per match and held their opponents to 108 points, an average of 7.7 points a match. They averaged a 37.8-point winning margin in those 14 victories. Two shutouts were achieved and they defeated 3 teams rated in the Amateur Wrestling Top 20 Teams.
