Dean Kenefick, Sr. has dedicated over 31 years to Trinity High School’s athletic department, starting as a clock operator and announcer and later serving as an assistant athletic director. He was inducted into the Trinity Sports Hall of Fame in 2020 and currently serves as Trinity’s Ticket Coordinator. Despite suffering a stroke that left him confined to a wheelchair, Kenefick continues to serve his community and school. He also spent 25 years as an umpire with Washington Youth Baseball and coached at the youth level. In addition to his work in athletics, Kenefick spent 37 years as a juvenile probation officer, including several years at Trinity, where he helped troubled youth succeed. His dedication and service to his community embody the spirit of the Above and Beyond Award.
