• Graduated in 1984 as Wash High’s all time leading receiver with 61 receptions for 1079 yards
• Selected to the Observer-Reporter All-Decade Scholastic Football Team – Best of the 1980s
• All Century Conference selection in football and basketball: 1983 and 1984
• 3 year varsity starter and senior co-captain of the 1984 Washington High School WPIAL and PIAA championship basketball team that was inducted into the Wash-Greene Sports Hall of Fame in 2000
• Member of the 1984 Wash High WPIAL AAA Track and Field 1600 meter championship relay team
• Hurdler and sprinter for the Washington teams that won three WPIAL AAA Track and Field team championships
• 2005 inductee into the Washington High School Sports Wall of Fame

• Four time honoree for outstanding game performance
