• Named to the Pennsylvania State football team as an offensive tackle in 1993
• He was an All-Conference selection
• Miles was a member of the 1993 WPIAL champion football team at Wash High. The team was the first in Washington County history to make the PIAA finals
• He was a member of the 1993 Post-Gazette’s Fabulous 22
• He received a full scholarship to play at Boston College
• Miles was a three-year letterman for the Eagles from 1995-97, starting his senior year in 1997 at left tackle
• He received the Gerald B. Healy Award for Academic Excellence
