He won the 1994 PIAA Wrestling Championship at 160-pounds, capping his 4-0 tourney run with a 10-5 victory over Greenburg-Salem’s Bruce Hainman. Keilan compiled a perfect 43-0 overall record that season. O’Daniel was also the 1994 WPIAL champion. O’Daniel credited Big Macs’ assistant coach and 2007 Washington-Greene Hall of Fame inductee Tim Mousetis for helping him reach his goal his senior season through teaching him a new technique—a counter-and-score defensive takedown move from neutral when the opponent takes a shot, He worked that three times in his triumphant state final match. Including his 37-3-1 and 27-1 overall records in 1992 and 1993, respectively, O’Daniel’s three-year cumulative record was an impressive 107-4-1 (.960).
