Messich has served as the Mapletown School District’s athletic director for over 28 years, where she played a major role in advancing female athletes. She was recognized as the Tri-County Athletic Directors Association AD of the Year in 2017. Linda also served on various athletic committees, including the WPIAL Board of Control and the PIAA Board of Control, and has been instrumental in coaching and officiating basketball, softball, and volleyball.
