Luke Amon

Luke is a four-year letter-winner in baseball, soccer, and golf, a three-year letter-winner in basketball and two-year lettermen in football. Luke, the 2025 Class President, is a three-year PJAS participant with several first-place awards. An All-Section infielder on the baseball team and All-Section goalkeeper in soccer, he was also named the Herald-Standard Goalkeeper of the Year. Amon earned All-Academic Basketball Team honors and is a 4.319 cumulative GPA student who ranks first in his class. Amon will continue his academic and baseball careers with designs on a career in finance at Washington and Jefferson College. He is the son of Robert and Shannon Amon of Richeyville, Pa. In his 300-word essay responding to “How will the lessons I learned from my participation in high school athletics help to impact my future?” Luke wrote “I’m grateful for my teammates and the opportunities to play sports, but the lessons I’ve learned from my coaches are what helped shape me into who I am today. I feel I could write a book with what I’ve learned and what all of my coaches mean to me. As I move forward in life, I’ll take these lessons with me, knowing they will help me handle challenges and successes, both in my career and personal life.”
