She was named to the Washington and Jefferson College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010
She was a four-year starter for the Presidents with 446 career assists, a school record at her graduation
The Presidents won 57 games in her four years with the program, including a 19-5 record during her senior season in which W&J won both the Presidents’ Athletic Conference and ECAC Southern Regional – the first post-season title in W&J’s women’s basketball history
She was a three-time All-PAC performer and won the 1993 Paul Reardon Award for academic and athletic excellence
Unice Yater scored 1,034 points in her career at W&J
She was a three-year starter at Trinity High School, where she scored 855 points
She was a member of the WPIAL Section 5 team in 1989 and 1990 and was a member of the Observer-Reporter All-District team
She was MVP of the Washington County All-Star game and played in the Keystone State Games, winning the bronze medal, in 1990
She averaged nearly seven assists per game during her three seasons at Trinity
