Sue Osleger has served as a registered official for 48 years, working numerous WPIAL and PIAA championship finals in basketball, volleyball, and softball. She has officiated four softball state finals in four different decades and has worked many collegiate softball conference championships, including the 1991 NAIA National Championships. Osleger continues to officiate softball at the collegiate and high school levels and is deeply involved in volleyball. She also evaluates basketball for the WPIAL and PIAA. In addition to her officiating career, Osleger spent 26 years as a health and physical education teacher in the Ringgold School District and served as an assistant coach for girls’ basketball at Mon Valley Catholic and Elizabeth Forward, as well as head coach at Ringgold High School from 1976 to 1983. She was part of an undefeated doubles team at Edinboro University and was the school’s first-ever catcher when the softball program was established. In 2014, she received the Tri-County Bill Christy Award for excellence in officiating.
