ARTHUR “DUTCH” MORRIS

Long time Washington Bronco League Manager of the Jessop Steel team starting in 1961.

Won 3 Bronco League championships and had 6 terms as manager or co-manager of the local All Star team.

Co-managed the 1968 All Star team that won the regional tournament at Elm Grove, WV and advanced to the final round of the divisional tournament at Martin’s Ferry, WV.

Morris also organized the Pancake team in the Midget Football League and served as coach for 11 years.

Played sandlot and semi-pro baseball and football in his youth.
