BRIAN HILK

Outstanding football player at Trinity High School. Team Captain, two way player, fullback and linebacker. Gained 1007 yards as a fullback. Selected to the Big 10 All-Conference Team, AP All-State. Pennsylvania “Big 33” Team & Adidas All-American.

At Akron University Brian played his freshman year on the Special Teams and was voted “Most Improved Freshman”. Three time Recipient of the Harry “Doc” Smith Award. Named Akron’s Defensive Captain his junior & senior years. Voted team Most Valuable Lineman and Defensive Player of the Year.

Signed and played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League as a linebacker in 1991, he sustained a knee injury and returned to Akron and earned his B.S. Industrial Management. Signed with the Toronto Argonauts in 1993 and 1994 with the Shreveport Pirates, as part of the Canadian Football League Expansion into the U.S. Hilk is the holder of a Canadian League record of 4 behind the line of scrimmage tackles in the 1st. Quarter of play.
