 Signed as an amateur free agent by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1952

 Played 3rd base for the Los Angeles Dodgers and St Louis Cardinals from 1958 to 1960.

 On April 18, 1958 he became the first Dodger to hit a home run in the city of Los Angeles. This was also the winning run as the Dodgers won their first game in LA.
