DR. STANLEY DUBELLE

Stanley T.Dubelle of Wyomissing, PA., an administrator in the Wilson School District in eastern Pennsylvania, is a native of Washington and a 1950 graduate of Washington High School, where he competed in wrestling, football and baseball. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster in 1954 and holds a masters degree from West Virginia University and a doctorate from Penn State University.

He won honorable mention on the All-State football team at center in 1948; finished second in the WPIAL wrestling tournament in 1950 and second in the Middle Atlantic collegiate tournarnent in 1954.

Dubelle was head wrestling coach at Trinity High School from 1956 through 1966 and was also an assistant football coach for 11 years. He had a 108-26-1 record in wrestling with four sectional titles, one WPIAL team title and an undefeated season in 1964-65 when he was honored as Wrestling Coach of the Year by Washington Knights of Columbus. He coached 38 sectional champions, 17 WPIAL winners and seven state champions. He has also been a baseball umpire and wrestling referee.

Dubelle has served 31 years as a teacher and administrator and is the author of three books on student disipline and teaching.
