As a senior, Bill averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds / game with a 48% Field Goal percentage and a 64% Free Throw percentage.
He scored 1051 career points, a 3 year school record and was a member of the school best 1968-69 CM basketball team with an 18 – 4 won/lost record.

Named to “Who’s Who In High School Sports”
1st Team All Star – 1969 Aliquippa Tournament
Received numerous scholarship offers from Division I colleges and universities.
University of Pittsburgh (1969 – 1973) 3 year letterman and starter as a Junior and Senior. Captain – Senior
Following his Pitt career he played on the Belgium National Team in the summer of 1973.
Invited to NBA tryouts with the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics but decided on Dental School.
