• Coached 21 present or former NFL players including present Steelers, Willie Parker, Jeff Reed and Greg Warren

• Won four Florida state titles in power lifting and has been ranked as high as 4th nationally

• Holds Level 1 certification in Olympic weight lifting by the US Weight Lifting Federation

• 2016 – Inducted into the USA Strength and Conditioning Coaches Hall of Fame

• 2017 – Named National Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Assn.

• 2019 – Salem University football lifetime achievement award

• 2021 – Salem University Distinguished Alumnus Award
