  • Perry Ivery graduated and played for legendary coach Jim Garry at Fort Cherry and finished as the high school’s all-time leading receiver and last PA 1st team all-state player to this day at Fort Cherry.

  • He Ivery finished his career with 112 receptions and 1, 863 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns.

  • Mr. Ivery finished his career with mor than 1, 500 yards rushing. During his senior year he led his team to only the school’s second WPIAL championship game. During this game, Perry was the first high school player to score at the newly opened Heinz field. He scored three TDs that game

  • During Perry’s illustrious career at Fort Cherry, he was also named Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Class A Player of the Year in 2002) and Ohio Valley Conference Offense Player of the Year.

  • He additionally made all conference in his sophomore and junior seasons. Perry also started and finished his high school basketball career leading Fort Cherry in career assist at the time of graduation. After Fort Cherry, Perry received a full Division I scholarship to the University of Toledo where he was a part of the 2002 MAC West Football championship team.

  • He finished his career at California University of Pa and lettered in 2005-2008.

  • Perry is the nephew of inductees — Raymond Kemp and Perry Kemp
