ROBERT STOCK

Bob was one of the best all around athletes that Washington High School has produced over the years 1959, 1960, 1961, where he started on both offense and defense in football for three years for Washington High School.

Honors received:
Three years “All Western Conference”
1960-1961 WPIAL at “End'(position played)
1961 “All State” and “Big 33”
1962 Started in the Big 33 game at Hershey
1962 Received a four-year scholarship to Ohio State University
Started for the 1962, 1963, & 1964 seasons where he was a wide receiver

Basketball..
1960, 1961, 1962 Started and lettered in Washington High School Basketball under Bill Laughlin

Track:
1960, 1961, 1962 was an outstanding track performer
Events: 100 yd dash Time: 10.1 seconds
High Jump Hgt. 6’4″
Long Jump Length 22’4″

Bob made the WPIAL track team in 1961 and 1962. Placed fourth in the 1962 State track meet

Baseball:
Bob made The American Legion All Star Team as a catcher
