The Washington-Greene Co. Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame proudly announces its Class of 2026 inductees, which includes the Monaco Above and Beyond recipient, Courage Award, and Hall of Fame Moments.
The 40th induction banquet will take place 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.

- Za’layah Edwards — Basketball — Chartiers-Houston and Fort Cherry High Schools; Penn State Fayette
Hall of Fame Moments
- Dave Clark — Fort Cherry High School — In the 1986 WPIAL Class AA baseball quarterfinals, blasted two three-run home runs, driving in six runs including the walk-off winner, to defeat Carmichaels. The Rangers went on to win the WPIAL championship.
- John Cohen — Washington High School — Returned a 72-yard punt as time expired for a 13-12 walk-off victory over Trinity in the 1980 season opener. It marked the renewal of the rivalry series and Washington’s first game under head coach Guy Montecalvo.
- Olen Scott — Canon McMillan High School — Trailing 21-7 with just over a minute remaining, executed a reverse and pinned highly ranked wrestler Gus Spanos to secure a dramatic WPIAL Team Quarterfinal win over Keystone Oaks in 1986.
